Changes to footers
We recently fixed a security issue that allowed a storeowner to alter the contents of the cart without a customer’s consent. We have resolved the issue, but as a side effect, we had to disable all HTML content in footers. Enstore weekly - Week 3 & 4

We’ve run into complications with maintenance that is affecting the Enstore manager. The manager will temporarily not be available from it’s default address (http://manager.enstore.com). Enstore September 8, 2011 outage
On September 8, 2011 Enstore was down from approximately 4:37 PM until 9:38 AM EST. The issues have been resolved and Enstore should be operating normally again. The outage was caused by an update to Google App Engine (our hosting provider) which introduced subtle changes to how data is returned. Enstore could not recognize the data and in stead showed the default server error message.

Improved Checkout (Buy) Page

Asynchronous Google Analytics
Google Analytics tracking for EnStore now works with the new asynchronous api. This should make your store load faster as the browser will now load the analytics script in the background. That way it can start displaying the page even before the tracking script is fully loaded. You can read more about the async api here.

Transparent Image Scaling Supported
You can now resize images in the PNG format without losing transparency. We used to replace the transparency channel with black, but from now on it will stay intact. This is for example great for using your store logo with different sizes and background colors.

Search Bug with Ünicøde fixed

Two Minor Updates to Admin Tool
The first was an issue which allowed empty selections when adding a shipping service, or when adding a country to an already created international shipping service. The second was a usability issue. It was not possible to double-click a country or shipping row to dismiss the dialog and add the country or shipping service.

Paypal Issues Fixed
Some users reported an error when trying to set up their store with Paypal (direct or express). On processing the payment they would get a “Security header error”. We’ve been talking to Paypal and fixed the issue. Paypal Direct now works as expected with British Pounds.
