Enstore and NYC

At the end of the day, I’m quite certain you’re more interested in selling your wares from an elegant, easy-to-use web store than any corporate maneuvers behind the scenes. Still, the two are connected. Enstore has new parents. Acclivity NYC is a newly formed satellite of Acclivity (makers of AccountEdge) dedicated to Enstore and Checkout development. We’ve retained Klaas Pieter as Enstore’s lead developer and we are excited to aggressively push forward (did we mention we’re hiring?).

Above all, it’s our plan to be honest and transparent in communicating with you. Klaas Pieter will be frequently posting plans, updates and enhancements from the team. We’ll also be asking your opinions. We guarantee we won’t make everyone happy, but we guarantee we’ll try.

We expect to move Enstore out of beta shortly, at which point we’ll support you from our New Jersey support center. The forums will be monitored, email response times will be fast and, if you want to call, you’ll find a friendly voice on the other end.

We realize your webstore is a vital bridge in your relationship with your customers and we appreciate the opportunity to be your partner.

Enstore weekly - Week 40

Stores

  • Fixed Enstore would sometimes show a unformatted error page
  • Correct common theme error causing problems in Internet Explorer

Manager

  • Make delete confirmations plural when deleting multiple items
  • Added a create submenu action to the Product menu context and action menu

These changes conclude our first release of the new manager. We think it’s now at a level where it’s ready to replace the old admin interface which will be discontinued when Enstore leaves beta. We’ll keep pushing the manager forward so please let us know if you’re experiencing any issues.
